DA NANG, Vietnam (Oct. 18, 2008) Cmdr. James Jones, commanding officer
of the guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89), accepts flowers
during a pier side welcoming ceremony. Mustin, with a crew of
approximately 300 Sailors, is in Vietnam for a scheduled port visit.

welcoming ceremony was held in the presence of the city leaders, the
High Command of Navy Zone No. 3, the Foreign Affairs Department and the
University of Danang.The
USS Mustin crew had volletball games with the naval force of Zone No. 3
and the Univeristy of Danang, visited and interacted with the students
of Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School for Disabled Children, and met with the Danang People’s Committee. |
