Frederick News Post -- REDERICK -- A West Virginia soldier who was killed in Iraq on Sunday is the son of a Brunswick man.
 John Seale learned of the death of his son, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Stephen A. Seale, of Grafton, W.Va., Sunday evening.
Sgt. Seale, 25, had deployed to Iraq for the second time in September and was scheduled to return to the United States in three weeks. He was stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky.
An improvised explosive device exploded outside the Humvee in which Sgt. Seale was riding while conducting combat operations in Baghdad. Two other soldiers, who were also assigned to the 2nd Brigade Troop Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, were also killed in the explosion.
