Jesus M. Montalvo

   
Individuals USAP WASHINGTON - A soldier from Fort Hood's 4th Infantry Division was killed last week in Iraq, the Defense Department announced Monday.

Staff Sgt. Jesus M. Montalvo died Wednesday in Baghdad after he was shot by small arms fire during combat.

Montalvo, 46, was from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Hood, Texas.

To the Montavlo family from the Wahl family. American Hero that was so much more to those that knew and loved him. Now in these very diffucult days ahead. Ewe all must be supportive with such understanding. You will reflect on the very fond and precious memorable moments you each shared together with "JESUS". As those coming to honor him will. All willshare stories in ways that JESUS has touched you all personally. It will bring a smile, a laugh and even tears. Then you will realize JESUS, is very much with you: in your hearts always. Jesus was a very unselfish individual. Willing to risk everything for us all! He fought terrorisn, gave the Iraqi people hope. To one day live in peace. He protected our liberities, freedom and our way of life. He was a military brother to our son Gregory. An Gregory was his brother. Gregory is with Jesus and all our fallen. Never alone!
