AP -- SACRAMENTO -- Army Pfc. Samuel S. Lee, of Anaheim, died of non-combat injuries in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Lee, 19, died Thursday, but no further details of his death were released.
Lee was assigned to the Army's 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division based in Camp Greaves, South Korea.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger issued a statement Monday offering his condolences to Lee's family and ordering flags at the state Capitol flown at half-staff to honor California soldiers lost in the war. |
