Rob Hopper refers two his son’s close brushes with death with one as recent as December 23rd when he was injured by an enemy grenade.

Brian’s older brother Patrick joined the marines after he did. He must also grieve for the younger brother in spite of his military career. The  22- year- old has a wife and child and his father hopes he won’t go back.

Brian was given the chance to come home but decided he wanted to stay to see the next mission through. He is truely a loyal brave man who everyone can be proud of.

Brian,
I would like to say thank you to you and the other men who were on that '53 with you for your service and sacrifice for our Country. And to your family, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
