Seth A. Hildreth

   
Individuals USA soldier from Myrtle Beach has died in the war in Iraq, the Army said Tuesday.

Spc. Seth A. Hildreth, 26, was killed Sunday 27 August, 2006, in Baghdad when his vehicle struck an explosive.

Hildreth was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division from Fort Hood, Texas.

Hildreth is the 42nd member of the U.S. military with S.C. ties to die in the Iraq war.

He was the second South Carolina serviceman killed in fighting over the weekend.
