Individuals USSgt. Felix G. Gonzalez-Iraheta, 25, of Sun Valley, Calif was one of two soldiers killed May 3 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when their unit came in contact with enemy forces using small arms fire.  they were both assigned to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany.

I am deeply sadden for the lost of Felix. On the third year of the lost of my son US ARMY Sgt. Gregory L. Wahl, SSgt Marvin Sprayberry, Captain Christopher Kenny, and PFC Marcus Lyndon. Nadja Sprayberry e-mailed me the sad news. She is from the her e-mail. Very emotionally upset to lost a close friend as Felix. I while reading her e-mail lost it. Tears just ran down my face. Still to Felix family. Be supportive toward one another for you each loved him in your own special way. reflect on the very fond and precious memorable moments you each shared together. Then you realize he is very much in your heart and close by. He would not want anyone sad. He rather you all be happy. Felix is in my heart and prays. Felix you will always be remembered and honored. I will come to mourn you at Arlington as I did for Marvin and Christopher. You are Gregory brother! Gregory, Marvin, Christopher, Marcus are with you with all our fallen. You are never alone!

Felix,
I would like to say thank you to you and the other soldier from your unit(1/18th Inf.) who was also killed in that attack for your service and sacrifice for our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
