Hometown. Russe, Bulgaria.
Valentin Donev, stationed in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, died of injuries on Tuesday May 3, 2005, during a vehicle accident near the city of Basrah.




Valentin was born on November 5, 1971 in the Danube riverside city of Russe. He joined the Bulgarian Army in September 2000. He had participated on missions in Cambodia and this was his first tour in Iraq.

Valentin Donev thank you for your scarifice. You are remembered today and all the tomorrow's. Your brother US Army Sgt. Gregory L. Wahl KIA Balad, Iraq 05-03-04. He welcomes you home to rest now. Valentin is a HERO and much more to those that knew him. My heart and prays are with him and his family. healing is a slow process. An a year later doesn't change much. So I tell you this from the heart. Valentin wouldn't want you to be sad or uhappy. He is with your in prays and in your heart. God Bless!
