CBS 4 -- There are yellow ribbons hanging outside Daniel J. Agami's family home in Broward on Monday evening.

The family was informed by the Defense Department of his death on June 21st in Baghdad. He was 25. Military officials said that he died with five other soldiers when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle.
The family is hoping to establish a scholarship fund where he went to school, but for the moment, they're waiting for their son's body to return home tomorrow.
A friend, Laura Shiner, said she'll always remember Daniel as, "someone who always made us laugh, always wanted to make everyone else happy. He had to make everyone smile."
Agami was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, in Germany.
Services will be on Tuesday at the Star of David funeral home at 7701 Bailey Rd. in North Lauderdale beginning at 3:30pm. |
I would like to say thank you to you and the other four soldiers who were also killed in that blast for your service and sacrifice for our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
