Camp In Iraq Named In Honor Of Local Soldier

KEYT 3 -- A local Commander with the U.S. Navy, who was killed in Iraq on Memorial Day is being honored in a special way.

The U.S. Military unveiled the new Camp Wolfe, named in honor of Commander Duane G. Wolfe.


Camp Wolf is located in what's now called , the Gulf Region District in Iraq. During the unveiling of the plaque Wolfe's wife, Cindi and their three children, watched online from California.

Wolfe was a Hueneme High graduate who called Los Osos home.
